Google Duplex
Google Duplex is a AI(Artificial Intelligence) based software program which will be soon available on your android phone.
This
software is so powerful that if you want to book a room in Hotel but
you do not have time . This software can call for you to the hotel and
book a hotel for you with human voice. Sophia robot's voice could
easily be understood as robot's voice while talking but if you will hear
Google Duplex then you cannot distinguish human and Duplex's voice. The
way of speaking and style of speaking is similar to humans. This
program is so powerful that it can easily catch human's voice and answer
in human's voice.
Working of Google Duplex
Google
Duplex is a Deep Neural network that rely on WaveNets technology.
WaveNets is speech synthesis program which was developed by Google
Deepmind in 2016. This software uses Recurrent Neural networks.
What is Neural Network:
Basically Neural network is just very big function of matrix multiplication where each part of matrix is made of Artificial neurons called Noids. In Noids, which contains mathematical formulas are arranged in layerwise manner. Each Noid has a input and a output.
When
matrix receive input first firstly all errors reported are eliminated
and secondly is to reduce the size. After which they are able to produce
output.
FUTURE OF NEURAL NETWORKS
With
the passage of time , this Technology of Google will advance. Then
Google Duplex will be used in Robots. And then Robots will be able to
level with humans in conversations and reasoning power.
It seems to be very amazing on the other hand, it is scary too.
Due
to Google Duplex , human interaction will decrease to a large extent.
For example if you are calling a hotel for booking a room with Google
Duplex on other side Hotel managers also turn on their Google Duplex,
this in turn will reduce the usage of humans.Where lies the need of
humans.
This
will decrease the employment opportunities and jobs available for
humans.This is a fact which I truly agree as Artificial Intelligence is
threat to humanity
